Kim Hardewig is an expert in wellness coaching with extensive experience in resilience training. She owns and operates, Flow & Resilience. Using her well-rounded experience in fitness, nutrition and mental well-being, she serves as a wellness consultant for multiple companies, groups and sports programs. Kim began her wellness career 19 years ago as a Clinical Exercise Specialist focusing on functional fitness to improve her clients’ quality of life. She specialized in patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s, cancer, heart disease, back pain, muscle imbalances and injury recovery. Her clients were looking for guidance and motivation as they found exercise and nutrition to be contributing factors in how well they managed their disease and recovery. As part of this work, she utilized different meditation and resilience techniques. 

In 2016, Kim became certified through HeartMath as a Resilience Coach. In the last six years, she has broadened the scope of her business to focus on a whole body approach, including reactions to stressors in her clients’ lives. She has utilized her years of experience as a corporate leader and trainer to develop a successful boot camp, private coaching, and wellness product business with a highly loyal and dedicated client base. Her diverse client base also incorporates specialty groups, including adults and children with physical disabilities and injuries, individuals with diseases or other health problems, athletes and sports teams, and individuals operating in highly-stressful occupations, such as first-responders. She created a Compassion Challenge and a Gratitude Challenge to help her clients live more meaningful and mindful lives while helping others in their community. 

Kim studied psychology at The Ohio State University. She now belongs to several peer groups related to fitness, nutrition, resiliency, meditation, marketing, business development, sales and leadership, which are designed to share knowledge and provide updates on the latest research. Kim’s talent lies in the teaching of science-based techniques that strengthen resilience by changing how the body responds in stressful situations. Her focus and commitment is to increase well-being and bring more joy to the clients she serves.
